I have made it a personal goal of mine to post once a week and write one article a month. I have been doing pretty with my personal challenges. However it is not as easy as it seems. You would think that I could just sit down at my desk and pound out a post. Right? In theory that is how it is suppose to work. After all my lovely little children supply me with all sorts of material to blog about. I just wanted to express my personal challenges involved with being a mommy-blogger working from home.
Challenge #1 (Herman)
See that big black and white cat? That’s Herman. He is always sitting in my chair. He is so cute, and I hate to disturb him.
Challenge #2 (George)
See that cute little orange ball of fur? That is George. When he is not sitting directly in the middle of the papers that I am suppose to be looking at he is hiding behind my screen. He is just waiting till I least expect it to swipe at my hand as I move the mouse. I call this technique the paw of pain.
Challenge #3 (Mommy-Brain)
So now I made it to the computer. Fought my way past not one, but two fearsome beasts. Then I sit at the computer, pull up the screen and sign in. Then every intelligent thought that I have had all day just leaks out of my ear. I forget what I was going to blog about. The cute conversation that I heard the kids having this morning. I forgot it. I remember that they had a cute conversation that was totally blog worthy. I forgot what was said.
