Tire Tracks

First off let me state that I am NOT modest (or apparently proud because I am sharing this with you).  That said, I got out of the shower yesterday night and my 4-year-old daughter came running in.  Her nightgown hiked up over her belly shouting “Sorry Mom!  I didn’t want to have an accent! ”  That really means accident.  So I am drying off and she looks at me.  She says “Mom did you get run over by a car?”  I reply “I was hit by a car once when I was little and broke my leg and tooth.  Why do you ask?”  Wait for it….  Her reply is “Because your belly looks like it has tire marks all over it.”    The only reply I have is “You and your sisters did this to me.”   I am well aware of how I look, and I couldn’t stop laughing!
