Severe flooding last week and over the weekend left 1,254 people still unaccounted for Sunday, five fatalities, over 1500 homes destroyed and over 17,500 homes damaged. The extend of road damage is unknown but sections of U.S. highways 34, 36 and 72 as well as and many mountain roads and almost 100 bridges are heavily damaged. Approximately 14,500 evacuated from flooded areas in 15 counties. Flooding has impacted the Eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains from Fort Collins to Cañon City.
